Attendance

Regular attendance at School is important for every child's physical, emotional, social and academic development, therefore school attendance is monitored closely at St Therese's. Teachers are required to record absences daily, with these being forwarded to the School Office to follow up. Absentees are recorded electronically. If the student is absent for an unknown reason, the School will contact the parent or guardian to ascertain the reason for the student’s absence.

If the absence is ongoing for an unjustified reason, an interview will be required between the Principal and parent or guardian to plan a pathway forward to enable the student to attend School.
